2 years ago depends on the occasion, if i’m aiming to be functional i’ll put on a polo shirt tucked into cargo pants, if i’m aiming to embarrass i’ll throw on my “how to pick up chicks” shirt and cargo shorts. Chilling at the beach? cargo shorts, socks in sandals with a fluorescent shirt that blinds people when they look at me, not to be irritating no, it’s to be visible, shark bites me in the water, you’re going to see me. Someone pickpockets one of my fifteen cargo shorts pockets? i can use the shirt to flag beach patrol. See a “dime” checking out the cargo shorts? the fluorescent shirt comes off and bam it’s a now a fluorescent towel so i can get my strut on. Now some of you might be questioning the reasoning behind the polo shirt, honestly i just need something to cover the upper half of the dad bod, i mean i already have the perfect cargo pants on so i just need some kind of covering for the wide gut. The cargo pants are super functional, super relaxed fit, carry everything i need and a bunch of stuff i don’t. Most importantly though i can keep a sewing kit in my right knee pocket to fix my three kids cargo pants if they have an accident.
